Last ride of 2008
Since my last post I’ve actually managed to fit in two more rides, one of which reunited me with a mate I haven’t seen for seven years and opened my eyes to the riding potential of the quantock hills, why didn’t I take up mountain biking in my teens instead of becoming a wood pusher (skateboarder for those that don’t know what that means)? Theres some pretty hard down hill runs up there I’m used to riding red and black welsh trail center runs but these really took the biscuit! The actual final ride of 2008 took me to the mendips with my mate John, it was frecking freezing all the really muddy sections you expected to get stuck in were frozen solid it was like riding icy rocks, nice! burrrr!
